Questions families ask.

Is this a medical service or an app?
No. Maatla is not a medical service and does not diagnose or treat anything. It is a WhatsApp-based support tool for reminders, check-ins, and health education. There is no app to download.

How much does it cost?
Family plans start at R50 a month for Basic, R80 for Pro, and R120 for Advanced. Prices and features may change, and any change will be shown before it applies.

Is my family’s health information safe?
Maatla follows POPIA, uses secure storage and limited access controls, and never sells personal or health information.

What happens in a real emergency?
Maatla reminders and check-ins are a support tool, not emergency care. In an emergency, always call 10177 or 112 immediately, or go to your nearest emergency facility.

How do I cancel or change my plan?
Cancel at any time by emailing Info@maatlahealthcare.com. Cancelling stops future billing, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

Is Maatla Academy accredited?
No. Academy courses build health awareness and practical skills, but they are not accredited qualifications and do not certify clinical or professional competence.
